GMA Asia Staff Attends GMA Week 2006

Several Gospel Music Association (GMA) Asia staff members were attendance this past April at GMA Week 2006, where they met with numerous representatives from GMA's Administration and International Committee to continue solidifying plans for establishing gospel music on a global scale.

GMA International Committee (GIC) members including Christian Music Trade Association (CMTA) Director Gabriel Aviles, GMA Canada President Martin Smith, and others responded with great interest as Jubilee Mission Director Christopher Chou and GMA Asia General Affairs Manager So Young Yoo presented about the developments in GMA Asia, including the establishment of GMA in 8 countries and future plans to set up GMA Asia's regional administration. GMA Asia liaison Justin Camacho and members of BREATHEcast.com also had a chance to meet with members of the (GIC) separately to discuss networking strategies in more detail.

“It's amazing to see God working on such a global scale in something like music,” said Camacho. “We're incredibly blessed to be a part of this movement and to have a chance to connect and work with those who have been on the spiritual battlefront for so long; it is truly an honor for us to go together with them towards such a glorious future in the culture of Christ where His name will be honored and lifted up to the ends of the earth.”

More details on the developments of GMA Asia and the Gospel Music Association internationally will be forthcoming shortly.
