Members of the GMA Asia Operations Committee met together in the March 2nd to
discuss and plan for a regional Fall concert, which is scheduled to be the association's
first organized event. Representatives from each of the eight countries
currently part of the GMA Asia roster were present at the conference, which
was held in the association's offices in Seoul, South Korea.
Discussion about the concert, which is tentatively scheduled to be held in October,
revolved around the purpose of the event, which representatives concluded would
be to gain publicity for artists from each of the various countries in GMA Asia
as well as the association itself. The concert will be the first of its
kind held in Asia to host such a regionally diverse group of Gospel music artists.
“We're very excited to have this event on the horizon for us,” said GMA Asia
President Nathanael Lee. “Not only is this a first for our association,
but it is also a very big first for our region in uniting those parti cipa
ting in Gospel music. We have great hope for God's work through this event,
and we look forward to finalizing the plans for it soon.”
